Program Participation Requirement

Key students are encouraged to get involved in campus and community activities. As a member of the Key Academic Community, students are required to participate in a number of programs and/or activities throughout the year. Each week, students are sent a KEYMAIL that outlines the various events and programs that are occurring on campus.

Program Participation Policy  

  • program participationBe involved in at least one activity (including Key sponsored or endorsed) per month during the academic year (August – November and January – April) for a total of at least 8 activities.
  • Participate in at least one campus or community retreat or conference during the academic year.
  • Fill out the Program Participation Passport (provided at Key Orientation) and submit at the end of the academic year.
  • Make sure that you have participated in the following:

 

ACADEMIC PROGRAM at least 3

CULTURAL EVENTS at least 1

LEADERSHIP EVENTS at least 1

SERVICE/VOLUNTEER WORK at least 1

OTHER* at least 1

*Programs designated as “other” can be of many categories, including community, social, or service.
